Important Changes to COMPASS Online

We recently sent out an email to all COMPASS Online User about changes that affect the information displayed about planning appeals on COMPASS Online. These changes come into effect on 15th March 2010 and can be summarised as follows:

Display Results Changes

The initial set of results delivered after entering a search term now includes the inspector’s decision and a flag to alert you if the case has subsequently gone to court.

Further Details Display

A new FREE format has been introduced containing all abstracts, court case information and various index terms used by our COMPASS Analysts to provide comprehensive subject searching. These index terms highlight the main issues of the appeal and can be used by full COMPASS Online subscribers to find similar appeals.

As indicated in the email, below are samples of each display, please note views differ depending on whether you are a full subscriber to COMPASS Online, paying an annual subscription.
